From September 24: Week 3 – The Denver Defense

The Jets have problems. They started the season playing the surprise team of 2021, the Carolina Panthers, who are the # 1 rated defense and currently 3 – 0. They have given up 30 points in 3 games.

In Week 2, they played the Patriots, who are rated 5th in defense and lost by 19 at home. The week they are up against Vic Fangio and his 2nd rated defense on the road. Steady Teddy Bridgewater is completing 74% of his passes.

The Bottom line is simple. The Jets are rebuilding. They know it, and so do the Broncos. They are 10 ½ point favorites.

We are buying 1 ½ points to be at – 9. It’s always better to be under 2 scores if you can. In this case, we have to lay – 140 to win 100.

At the end of the day, the best team does win. It’s just a question of how many points will they win by.
