From October 31: Week 8 – The Bye Week = Cash

For the past 5 years, the NFL has been in transition to passing the ball more and protecting the QB. They have introduced new kick off rules, and all types of tackling regulations, that are meant to protect the players.
Now, teams are changing back to running the ball more, to open up the passing game. The result is, more injuries, lingering aches and pains that take more than a week to heal.
Bye weeks started in week 5 and every team needed one. Maybe the 49ers need 2!
Week 5: KC and Carolina were on their bye week. Both teams won and covered the line in week 6.
Week 6: Cincinnati, Detroit, Miami, and Minnesota had their bye week. All 4 teams came back to win in Week 7.
Week 7: Buffalo, Jacksonville, LA Chargers, and Washington were off and now come back well rested and reasons to win. We are not sure all 4 can win but we’re going with the Jags at home over the Colts. Ownership has given up on the team. In the last 11 days 2 of their top players have been traded and their GM has been fired. They will have 10 picks in the draft next year and looking for more.
The Jags are fresh, healthy, playing great football at home, against a mentally distraught team. The Line has jumped to – 10. We are buying the game down to -8 and laying -130. This is a game to send it in.
The Cowboys at home are our 2nd game of the week. Arizona is 2 – 5 and last in the league in defense. They have beaten the 0 – 6 Chargers in week 1 and the LA Rams when they were injured and not playing week 6. They lost their 5 games to Seattle, Denver, Detroit, the 49ers and Giants. in those 5 games they gave up 180 points. Divided by 5 does equal 36 points per game. The Cowboys, run it up against bad teams. This game should be a high scoring affair, to get the Boys back into the divisional hunt. The line is – 7. Buy is down to 6 or and go with Dallas.
