From September 6: Week 1 – Broncos Country, Here We Come!

Let’s look at the Tennessee-Denver game this Sunday. The podcasts and talk shows are all talking about how good the Broncos are going to be when they open the season at Mile High.

The line clearly shows that the boys in Vegas like the Broncos to win by – 8 ½. We’re trying to justify this huge line.

Tennessee finished 0 – 5 in their last five games of 2024. They gave up 460 points (tops in the regular season) and only scored 311 points. The Titans were 3 – 14 last year, only beating Miami (Week 4), New England (Week 8), and a bad Houston (Week 12). Last season, the Broncos went 3- 2 in their last five games while finishing the season at 10-7. The Broncos have a much better defense and should be taken seriously as a contender. Sean Payton is worth 3 points. Being home in Denver is worth 2 -3 points. It’s very clear which one is the better team.

We are going with the Broncos, buying 1 ½ points to win by more than 7 to start the year on a high note.
